This works great for my LCD TV (46″ Samsung @50 lbs), however, I don’t know if I would trust it with a heavier Plasma TV. There are only 4 lag screws that connect to wood studs, which wasn’t enough for me. The wall it is mounted to has a closet behind, so I actually used 3 extra bolts and bolted it through the wall to angle iron on in the closet. Now, if the TV falls off, either the wall fell down or the product (swing arm) failed. Besides the connection to the wall, I don’t know if the swing arm could support 150 lbs 20″ from the wall.

I’ve shopped for an HDTV for years..seen them all. This is the best, clearest picture I’ve ever seen. Picture rivals $3500 Pioneer I saw for half the price. No motiuon blur, good even with non HD channels!! Initial set up is a breeze. I would recommend this TV bigtime !!!

Overall the picture is great on this television—and plasma is certainly the way to go over LCD. I am very happy with the picture and feature set…although a couple of things about the menu controls are a little screwy, but they are just minor annoyances.

TV arrived and was set up by delivery service. The picture is perfect. My cats are afraid of it because its monstrous… which is awsome. If you hug it it keeps you warm. (yes I do hug it).

Product is as pictured. Quality is fantastic. The customer service was amazing. We ordered the television at 8:30 PM and had it by 5PM the next day…can’t beat that, especially with free shipping.

This was one of those sight unseen purchases based upon a glowing review in Consumer Reports. It’s everything it was said to be. Razor sharp images, very nice sound from the two internal speakers (we subsequently purchased a Samsung home theater system “in a box”) and more inputs/outputs than one could possibly need. If it has one “fault” it’s the NYC size telephone directory owners manual and a remote control that I suspect has a feature to beam one aboard the mother ship (still to be confirmed). Highly recommended!

I bought this television in July. Let me just start by saying that the television is AWESOME for watching television and DVDS/BDs. I have it going through my Sony receiver, which has 4 HDMI inputs, and the ability to add audio delay. Sooooo… that being said, I don not have the problem with not being able to connect enough devices to the tv. I bought it for that very reason…I don’t want a bunch of wires/cables goiing to the tv as it hangs on the wall! So I have 3 HDMI devices going to the Sony receiver, and 1 HDMI output from the Sony to the tv transmitter…I never have to change the tv input device… just the receiver input device. Now, add this all to the Harmony One remote and it works perfectly!br / I also don’t have the problem with gaming delays because I simply don’t hook the games (PS3, WII, 360) to the system…I use my 72-inch Samsung TV (which cost less initially on Amazon, now goes for 3,999.00)for that!!!!

I recently returned this tv. The picture is absolutely stunning, but the tv loses signal with the wireless base unit once every hour or so. I had the samsung tech come and work on the base unit. He replaced some part in it, but even that did not solve the problem. A great tv if it works, but unfortunately mine did not.

I bought this tv 2 weeks ago and have had issues with it since. Though the picture quality was great and the tv was nice looking, I experienced the following problems:br /br /1.You cannot play video games on it, because of the extreme delay between what you see on the tv and the gaming console. The repairman said that if my xbox had hdmi this would be better, but he also said that about componet (which I’d tried) before I showed him that component didn’t solve it either. br /br /2. After watching anything for about 15 minutes, the tv screen freezes and then connects with the wireless station, which takes about a minute and usually happens once every few hours. I should note that I plug my tv into a power strip, which I turn off each night to save energy, so if you leave your tv plugged in this may not be as much of an issue. br /br /3. The delay between the audio and video when plugged into a home theater is huge. The setting on my reciever can delay the audio up to 100ms and even that is not quite enough.br /br /For my use, the technology simply isn’t there yet, and I returned it yesterday. Amazon was very helpful and gracious about the return, however, and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
